Natural with Taupe Block Panel Bedding Set

A taupe block panel runs across the lower section of the duvet cover against a natural ground, woven from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton in a 300 thread count sateen weave. The bold geometric contrast is woven into the fabric rather than printed, giving a clean, permanent finish. The duvet cover closes with concealed coconut-shell buttons. Made in a Fairtrade certified factory in India and packaged in a reusable organic cotton bag from surplus Cottsbury fabric.

Sateen uses a four-over-one-under weave structure that brings more yarn to the fabric surface than percale. The result is a smooth, slightly lustrous finish with a softer, heavier drape. At 300 thread count, this sits between lightweight summer percale and heavier winter flannel, suitable year-round. It improves in softness with every wash.
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is the leading international certification for organic textiles. It covers the full supply chain, fibre sourcing, spinning, weaving, and manufacturing. The cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers, and every processing stage meets strict chemical and labour standards. No harmful dyes, heavy metals, or chemical finishes are permitted under GOTS.
The taupe block panel is woven directly into the fabric using coloured yarn at the point of production. It is not printed or applied after weaving, which means the colour is permanent and does not fade unevenly over time. The panel runs across the lower section of the duvet cover, leaving the main body of the cover in natural.
Cottsbury duvet covers are sized to standard UK dimensions. A Single (135 x 200 cm) fits a standard single duvet. A Double (200 x 200 cm) fits a standard double. The King (230 x 220 cm) fits a standard king without overhang. Size up for deep-fill or continental duvets. The fitted sheet suits mattresses up to 30 cm deep.
